What Our Guests Say About Us
"We loved our stay at Carkeet Cottage, it was perfect for our big group and even our cat felt at home.
We loved cooking in the kitchen, it had everything we needed and really nice crockery which we appreciated. On our second night we fired up the pizza oven and used herbs from the garden which were plentiful and delicious. The oranges from the tree were amazing and the lemons were a treat for our gin and tonics.
The food and wine in the area is excellent as are the beautiful bush walks. We'll definitely come again and might bring our bikes next time to try the rail trail".

"We had a wonderful stay at Carkeet Cottage in Heathcote. The house was cosy, clean, and well-equipped — perfect for us and our fur baby. The living area had a warm, homely feel, and the bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The real highlight was the backyard — spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening drink. It’s also in a great spot, close to town and local wineries but still nice and quiet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Heathcote".
